A Rainbow ring surround the plane shadow

Remember my ex-church friend Gladys who is still in Chiangmai helping out at the orphanage. We got her latest email update recently.. I can't help but felt so encouraged by her sharing & the awesome things that God is doing in her life. Way to go gal! Thanks for sharing I miss ya! I always remember Gladys as the active girl with child-like faith (she's a bit like our brother Yasi), always trusting and believing.Due to one of their mission project, she needs to get cloth and other accessories needed for banners from Taiwan because the cloth she gets in Thailand is imported from Taiwan and much cheaper there as to buy direct and make a business contact with the wholesaler.
On the plane, 10 minutes after the plane took off for her to return to Chiangmai, she saw this special sign out and below of her window. When she saw it, she knew immediately, it was specially for her, from the Lord.
Its amazing.. only God can do it! This was what she said: "
It's a Rainbow Ring surrounded the plane shadow. The Lord is protecting the plane, and He was with me. I was assured by this sign"
Someone pointed to me that there seems to be an angry face above the plane in the 2nd picture in the clouds. Penny for our thoughts? Hmmm interesting.. Lord is really protecting her. link | posted by ShepherdKing at 7:00 AM

Move Review~ Akeelah and the Bee
Fav Quote:Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate; our greatest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure .
The movie of Akeelah and the Bee is a heart-warming one. Its about a black 11 year-old girl living with her working mother, single mother sister, and gang member brother, making it big in the world of the national spelling-bee.
http://www.spellingbee.com/
This annual competition is to help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.
The film has humor, and a bit that seeps into your emotions. The best part of the movie to me was when they were in the garden and talking about Akeelah's coach Dr. Larabee's wife and daughter.
Dr Larabee is nursing some old wounds and has essentially withdrawn from the world. Through his relationship with Akeelah, Larabee taught the young girl to conquer her fears and to excel, while she in turn helps him to overcome his grief. link | posted by ShepherdKing at 7:56 AM

Freaky Christians.. come on give Abba a break..
There was this email war going on in the yahoosgroup, well well.. some people just can't take it when you are too sharp and pricky.I still believe in staying true to myself, NO regrets being vocal & standing up for a friend..it really irritates me inside when they are shotting their nonsense at a small issue, regarding the flash animation and misunderstanding my friend's point of view. Preaching preaching everywhere they went... as though they are graduates of bible college. Acting holy and spurring bible answers out of context not relating to the main message. Well, what's their real life like? We never koe. THEY love everyone to accept their views. People just love to hear goody good stuff.. sad isn't they.. Hahaa Coz they dun like to hear the truth, as they can't take it.. You Pharisees who condemned Jesus, you koe who you are..
The best way of resistance now is to IGNORE the devil(s). These pple can be so law-based.. I really hated it when someone throw God's word (not in context) at you for no reason (especially when its out of the point), it's like pointing you to the LAW... when you are basking in the joy and love. Extremely irritating. Initially best way to defend.. attack.. no no.. Abba said ignore.. through this incident, He showed me who my true friends are, people who accept me for who I am (I'm not a quiet sweetie pie.. I'm still the outspoken glorious ah lian), people who really koe who I really am :) and loves me still. As I take account of what I had been doing for the past few months, once believing in blessing these bunch of (gossiping) people..hoping that it be a platform of common interest and activities, .. well well ultimately it is not very enriching after all.. You who wrote the comments in my tag box, I love to shout so wat, "GET OUT OF MY BLOG" if you can't appreciate my views, Well PLS DO GET OUT.. its my BLOG.. my property..
God is good, He showed me and blessed me. And I believed that He has begun blessing me even through this silly nonsense that is happening. Christians are still humans.. but I really can't stand freaky and judgemental ones. Having all the hated emails directed at you was no fun at all. But I had an amusing time poking back at them (THEY are really mean).. well well.. where are all the gracious people around.. ???
I'm so tired of socalising.. its more rewarding to spend quality time with people who cares for you.. :) link | posted by ShepherdKing at 2:54 AM

A tribute to Luo Han (nemo)..
Our pet Luo Han fish that was with my family for close to 5 yrs had died today. I came back from work and my father was throwing the fish tanks and the accessories away. Nemo (the fish's name) was still alrite in the morning, even though it hadn't been eating for the past few weeks coz most of it's teeth had fallen. It had brought tons joy and company to my parents for years especially now that they are retired. Nemo was like our pet fish-doggy.. when we returned.. it will never fail to flip it's fins at us to welcome us home. My dad's been saying to rear a pet dog/cat now.. I strongly opposed! I hate 4 legged animals!! especially their fur and tongue and the way it glues and sticks to u.... no way..i object!!2 new colleagues joined my team this week.. 3 more leaving our Company this week, 1 had tendered, and another tendering tomorrow! Things are tougher at work.. management is getting more aggressive and taking up more projects.. well.. we are pushed to performed isn't we.. I'm really not keen in what I am doing.. trying to fill orders and candidates that I do not believe it. With the new staff coming in.. its a totally new ball game all together.. really complicated to explain it here..i was told me becareful of who and who.. so strange.. when it the situation changed 360 degree only in 1 month! It's really the grace of God that can bring me through... ... Standing on Christ the solid ROCK.. other grounds is only sinking sand..
I wonder why.. life is like only about these 2 missions... (1) work (finding a job u are satisfy and make more $ to survive, to afford to travel). (2) finding a life partner (someone that u loves and loves u keeps u company)..
Something to ponder: God promises are to be heard and believed in our hearts.. no use knowing it in our heads..

Dance with my Father...
Last night's Singapore Idol, my favourite contestant Jonathan Leong sung Dance with my Father and delicated it to his Dad, "to remember his love for me"..Was kinda blew up by his performance, its that kinda song everyone can relate to, the kinda song that touches your soul and spirit.
Yes I was thinking of how great it is.. our heavenly Daddy we have. My Jehovah-Jireh (tiny's provider)
This song was written by the late Luther Vandross, in remembrance of his late father.
Luther Vandross (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) was an American R&B singer. During his career, Vandross sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He died of complications from diabetes in 2005.
It's really a wonderful song.. enjoy dear readers..

Lyrics
Back when I was a child, before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high and dance with my mother and me and then
Spin me around ‘til I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved
If I could get another chance, another walk, another dance with him
I’d play a song that would never, ever end
How I’d love, love, love
To dance with my father again
When I and my mother would disagree
To get my way, I would run from her to him
He’d make me laugh just to comfort me
Then finally make me do just what my mama said
Later that night when I was asleepHe left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me
If I could steal one final glance, one final step, one final dance with him
I’d play a song that would never, ever end
‘Cause I’d love, love, love
To dance with my father again
Sometimes I’d listen outside her door
And I’d hear how my mother cried for him
I pray for her even more than me
I pray for her even more than me
I know I’m praying for much too much
But could you send back the only man she loved
I know you don’t do it usually
But dear Lord she’s dying
To dance with my father again
Every night I fall asleep and this is all I ever dream link | posted by ShepherdKing at 9:52 AM
